Minnesota State Pressbooks

Minnesota State Pressbooks site:

Minnesota State has an enterprise level education account with Pressbooks. Limited to 30 new books a year, participation is reserved for Minnesota State faculty/staff who take advantage of the PressbooksEDU interactive features, with priority given to OER projects.

PressbooksEDU's interactive features are used to make OER that more engaging and accessible for students.
  1. H5P  (interactive learning content - quizzes, timelines, accordion, image juxtaposition, etc.
  2. Hypothesis (social web annotation)
  3. Increased accessibility options
    1. MathJax
    2. TablePress
  4. Additional analytics options

If you are just starting out or do not intend to use the interactive features, we recommend creating a basic pressbooks account using Minitex's Minnesota Libraries Publishing Project (MLPP). MLPP is free and open to everyone in Minnesota.

To request a PressbooksEDU account, Minnesota State faculty and staff fill out the interest form
Note: if you only want a test account to try the additional features, please indicate that on the form.

If you have other questions or need specific help with pressbooks or PressbooksEDU, please submit a ticket - https://palssupport.zohodesk.com/portal/en/newticket
