Islandora Migration Progress Report

  1. Bathany Lutheran and College of St. Scholastica are now live on Islandora 2.
  2. Luther College is in the last stages of going live.
  3. MSU, Mankato will be ready for a test load in the next week.
  4. Mapping for Opendora is starting as well.
  5. Next up will be Augsburg.


Update - 3/25/2025
  1. Bethany Lutheran College reviewing production site, going live soon.
  2. College of St. Scholastica reviewing full migration data.
  3. Working on mapping and ingest form Luther College.
  4. Website scheme complete for Minnesota State University, Mankato



Update - 9/29/23

 4/15 of our sites are live on Islandora 2

Lessons Learned:

  1. Need handle.net set up before go-live, if using
  2. Weekly updates were too frequent- lots of functionality broken. Moved to monthly updates.
  3. Metadata is particularly tricky from 7 to 2
