EZproxy Login Pages

EZproxy Login Pages

We generally recommend that people keep these login pages simple, click here for an example.

It is possible to get fancy if you want and you have people with HTML and CSS skills (the PALS office does not provide this service).

We are hoping to move to SAML soon, so if you are not in a hurry, you might want to wait to see how that changes the login process.

If you do choose to update your pages, you probably want to do three of them together (in the docs directory):

  1. login.htm – the main page that displays
  1. loginbu.htm – this page shows if there is login difficulty such as a wrong password
  1. wronglibrary.htm – this page shows if the person can log in but does not have privileges at your library

There are no official templates, but you could borrow some code from an existing page (from another library) if you find one you like.

Check the accessibility of your pages here: https://wave.webaim.org/

If you do not currently have access to sftp your files, put in a ticket: https://palssupport.zohodesk.com/
