Activating a service

Activating a service

Why you might need or want to do this:

  1. You had not initially activated the service when setting up a collection.
  2. You had temporarily turned off the service because of down-time.
  3. You found multiple portfolio's bibliographic records showing up in Primo with no links.

How to do this:

  1. Perform an Electronic Collection search to find the collection in Alma.
  2. Click the ellipses/More Actions button.
  3. Select "Edit Service."
  4. Alma will open the Electronic Service Editor.
  5. The Activation tab is already displaying.
  6. Toggle to "Available" for Service Activation Status.
  7. Click "Save."
